We couldn't begin to study the Proverbs 31 woman, a woman fit to be the wife of a king, without first looking in depth at the very first marriage relationship:  that of Adam and Eve.  Through it we learn God's purpose in creating Eve, her role in His creation, and His intention for marriage between a man and a woman. We also see the devastating results of Adam and Eve's fall in the garden of Eden, with God's subsequent admonitions and adjustments, and His provisions for their welfare in a fallen state.

Let's look at their creation, recorded in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, marriage in the Garden of Eden in Together As One, and their fall, recorded in Genesis 3.  We'll then look at the results in Life after the Fall.
